What we do for people inside and the people who love them
The listings are the heart of it, but they are not the whole job. Everything below comes out of something a family asked us to fix. Ask about any of it and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.
Pen pal listings
A photo, a short bio and a place for people on the outside to find them.
Family, friends or the person themselves send us a photo and a few honest lines. We read every one, post it here, and anyone looking for a pen pal can write a single message through the site.
Photos for inmates
Prints and photo orders sent to someone inside.
Order prints for someone in a state or federal facility. Ask us first and we will tell you what their facility accepts, how many photos can go in one envelope, and how the delivery works there.
A texting service that keeps families and friends in touch between letters. Tell us which facility your person is in and we will walk you through getting set up. We set the service up with you directly.
Gift ordering
Send a gift to someone inside, without the guesswork.
We help you order a gift for someone in custody and get it to the right place. Ask us what is allowed at their facility before you buy, so nothing is turned away at the gate.
Credit assistance
Help with the balances that keep phone calls and messages running.
Phone, messaging and commissary accounts run on credits, and a stuck balance can cut someone off from their people for weeks. Tell us what is happening and we will help you sort it out.
Personal assistance
Someone to handle the runaround for you.
Paperwork, forms, phone calls, appointments and the small things that are impossible to do from inside. We take it on and keep you told.
Legal forms
The right forms, filled in properly.
We help you get common legal and court forms in front of you, filled in correctly, and moving where they need to go. We are not attorneys and we do not give legal advice.
Mail forwarding
A steady address between the facility and home.
Mail gets lost, returned or delayed. We receive it, hold it and forward it on so letters and documents actually reach the person they were written for.
Social media management
Keep your page alive while you are inside.
We post for you, answer your people and keep your account in good shape, so the page you come home to is one you are proud of.
Letters are the point of this site, but a letter takes weeks. For the things that cannot wait that long — a court date, a hospital visit, a bad night — we run our own text service. It carries short messages between a phone on the outside and the messaging system the person inside already uses.
It is ours, run by us, and you deal with us from start to finish. We set it up with you directly, so nothing goes live until it is working and you have tested it with your own phone. Tell us the facility and the state and we will tell you whether it is a fit for them.
01
They send a message
From the facility messaging system they already use.
02
We receive it
It comes into the relay we run for exactly this.
03
It reaches your phone
You get it as a plain text message.
04
You reply
Your reply goes back to them the same way.
Messaging inside a facility is reviewed before it goes out, so a reply can take anywhere from fifteen minutes to a few hours depending on the shift. That is normal, and it is still a great deal faster than the mail.
Photos for Inmates
Send us the photo with their name and their ID number. We print it on prison-safe stock and mail it directly to them inside — mail room approved.
Any ID number their system uses is fine: an NSDOC number, a department of correction number, a register number, or any inmate number. That is how we locate their information and make sure it goes to the right place.
We manage a client’s Facebook, TikTok and Instagram pages — or build them brand new ones — for a small fee. Posting, replying, keeping it in good shape, so the page they come home to is one they are proud of.
Sign up and tell us which pages you need handled. We will reach out to talk through the details and the fee with you.
