Email us
Write to us — it is often the quickest way
A letter takes weeks to reach a cell, but an email reaches us the moment you press send. Most questions get an answer the same day, and every one is read by a person, not a machine.
There are two addresses, and they go to the same small team. Tap whichever suits what you need — your own email app opens with a new message already addressed to us.
Each of these opens your own email app with a subject already filled in. You can change it, of course. If nothing opens, copy the address and send it from whichever mail you normally use.
Rather talk it through?
Call or text us instead
The same number reaches families, friends and people inside. If it is something long, or you are not sure how to put it in writing, calling is easier — and we would rather hear it than have you wonder.
On a phone, both buttons work. On a computer, calling needs a phone app set up.
So we can answer in one go
Most of what slows an answer down is a missing detail. Three lines is plenty — you do not need to write it out properly.
Who it is about
Their name as it goes on their mail, their ID number, the facility and the state. That is what lets us find them the first time.
What you need
A listing, a letter, prints, a number set up, a question about a payment. Plain words are fine.
How to reach you
A phone number we can call or text, and an email if you would rather we wrote back that way.
Would you rather use a form?
The contact page has a short form that comes straight to us, with the same two addresses beside it.
